Esta camiseta rinde homenaje a una de las equipaciones más singulares del Deportivo de La Coruña en la Champions 2003/04, utilizada únicamente en el partido ante el AS Mónaco, una noche tan extraña como inolvidable que terminó con un 8-3 en contra. El diseño de colores llamativos, con Fadesa en el pecho, quedó ligado para siempre a un partido imposible de borrar de la memoria europea del Dépor.
Fue la noche del gol de Diego Tristán, elegido posteriormente como el mejor gol de aquella edición de la Champions League. Una camiseta marcada por la derrota, pero también por el talento y la osadía de un Dépor que rozó la gloria europea.
