Esta camiseta rinde homenaje a la Selección Gallega que volvió a reunirse en 2005, recuperando una tradición interrumpida durante décadas. El regreso se produjo el 29 de diciembre sobre el césped de San Lázaro, con la victoria por 3–2 ante Uruguay, un partido de fuerte carga simbólica que devolvió a Galicia al fútbol internacional desde lo identitario.
